1. How do you define the Tijuana-San Diego region?
A border in which one side demands, the opposite provides and vice versa, resulting in a deep perception of others as aliens.
2. How do you define your own work?
Graphic design, plain and simple. Projects need solutions, we provide them.
3. How is the geographical context of the Tijuana-San Diego region reflected in your work?
I can’t identify how the geographic context influences my work, I think that is, maybe, because I don’t do any artistic work in which my perception of things is expressed. There is no doubt that having the chance to visit another country frequently and having territorial limits might have changed me as a person but I honestly can’t tell how this affects my work.
I was born in Mexico City on december 31 of 1984, my family moved to Tijuana when I was 4 years old and I lived there until 2018. I have been a graphic designer for 12 years. I worked at Golpeavisa between 2012 and 2103 and in 2014 I founded Eraboy Studio.
